Bad Events In Macbeth

Shakespeare wrote the play Macbeth in 1606 and based it partly on facts. Macbeth was a Scottish King from 1040 until 1057. He wrote the play about a king whose ambition leads to bad consequences. Part of the play includes witches that give a prophecy to Macbeth that he will become king. Many bad things happened during the performance of the play. People believed that the play was cursed. They couldn’t say the name of the play.

We believe the play is set in Scotland in the 11th century. Some scenes take place at Forres castle in Scotland where Duncan lives. This is where Macbeth will live when he becomes king. This is also where Macbeth and his wife kill Duncan. Inverness castle which is where Macbeth lives before becoming king. Fife is

His best friend and comrade in arms, Banquo, also learns that his linage of sons will be the king thereafter.
