In the advent of technology that made everything easier, faster and all in the tips of our fingers, here comes another kind of entertainment, which is popularly known as video games. These are allowing the gamers to command and manipulate the games and all that is in it to fulfill the goal of the game until the winning moments. But, researches are saying that these video games, when played with addiction, can cause bad effects to an individual’s skills in communicating and comprehension of the reality like it is just a game. This issue can be traced back to Death Race, a video game that portrays cars running over bad guys and being their tombstones. A video game that cases such behaviors needs to be defines and how grave does it affect a person. This writing will not talk about whether or not video games make a person violent, because it is already given. As a proof, according to an …show more content…
Also, game makers can help in heightening the receptiveness and to design games that are fit to the age of the young gamers. They can use security features to also heighten the measures of control.
From my vantage point, of a parent like me, I see to it that my children should have entertainment that fits their age because these children are our hopes in the future. Therefore, rearing them properly is very essential. Largely, exerting concern to this potential violence of children is very important since this impacts much their families and we do not want to create violent civilizations of the generation next to us. Therefore, parents and teacher should take all their time to let them understand the drawbacks of these video games.
Despite of this promoting violence, on the contrary, statistics show that video games also helped in lowering the crime rate. As my last note, video games are good when they breed good results but the negative effects outweigh the
