Bad Boy Vibes

Bad Boy Vibes by H.M Irwing is a thrilling trilogy that is made up of three books; Heartaches, Heartaches 2 and Heartaches 3. I was tempted to refer to this series as a triangle of books. Heartaches 3 is the third and the final book in the series. This story is set in Queensland, Australia and so be ready to encounter some Queens dialect. The story starts off at the point where the author concludes his preceding book, Heartaches 2.

H.M Irwing’s book, Heartaches 3, is a romantic book that revolves about the lives of Raphael (commonly known as Rafe) and Anna Walters Simmons. The two are really striving to come into terms with their past lives that have been marred with a lot of agony and suffering. Anna Simmons and Rafe Browns look forward to revenge. They seek legal ways to acquire justice but unfortunately, this does not yield much fruits. Anna, Suzi and Rafe prevent the wedding ceremony of Bella and Peter Preston from taking place. She then associates with Rafe and Suzi so as to find a fine company.

I greatly liked this since it captivated and intrigued me so much. The plot of this book is well written and it flows well. It leaves the readers intrigued at the end of the story. One of the greatest achievements of this book is its strong character development. In fact, it is one of the key pillars that support the story. I really loved the characters to an extent of wanting to identify with some of them. They are indeed very likable

The novel is well rounded, but only falls short due to the accidental mistakes made by the author. Nonetheless, the fact that the book is followed by several sequels ultimately provides the possibility that the author fixes the issues within the next installments. However, despite being a well rounded novel the book at times is dragged out with unnecessary additional words where the author attempts to further describe her point. The reader at times will have to re-read several passages to understand the repetitive word choice and will have to overcome the lack of suspense within the novel’s key…

How did I feel about the book Unlikely Allies? I had lots of difficulty reading the book, from the sudden changes in scenes to the exhausting writing. It felt like a sloppy mess of sudden twists and turns that would, in most books, keep me intrigued, but this did not interest me at all. If the author added just a little bit of flair to the certain parts of the writing then I think I would really enjoy the book. The book had things I didn’t like, a few things I did like, and a couple things I would change.…

I like the author’s writing style because it’s complex, but simple. I also like how the author’s pen name is a Lorien Elder in the story which I find clever because it makes me wonder if he’s alive because on every book jacket for the Author’s Bio, it says “Pittacus Lore is Lorien's ruling Elder. He had been on Earth preparing for the war that will decide Earth's fate. His whereabouts are unknown.” What I don’t like is the suspense at the end of the book, I like the suspense, but I always try to guess who dies or what happens, it makes my mind races with possibility.…
