“Your boyfriend sent me to see if you were going to come to his party tonight.” Aaron says while crossing his arms over his chest, making the muscles in his arms stand out.

“I told Jace that I would be there as soon as I could. He knows how important this show is to me.” I say while pulling my phone out of my back pocket.

“I know that, but Jace thought you would have been there by now. You know how he gets when you’re not around.” Aaron sighs while running a hand through his hair.

“Yes I know, but what can I do? He needs to learn that I can’t always be there all hours of the day. I’m surprised that my parents let me move out when I turned sixteen and move in with Jace.” I sigh while dialing Jace’s number.

“Every parent loves Jace.
