Narrative Essay On My First Trampoline

It was a beautiful day in Sparta, New Jersey. The grass was green and the birds were chirping. I had just gotten a new trampoline a month before and the day I got it I did my first ever double flip. I felt like practicing my doubles so I invited my friend Michael over. I wanted to practice double backflips but, Michael said “We should get out some pillows and practice double frontflips.” At this point in time, I was not very good at double front flips so I virtually never did them. I hit my knee on my face very lightly when I landed, but this was enough to make my nose, which I’ve gotten quarterized four times, bleed. I sat down and waited for my nosebleed to stop. After hanging out for a half hour, I decided I wanted to try another triple. Michael said “You should just wait until tomorrow so you don’t die.” I knew that even jumping on that trampoline might be enough to make my nose start bleeding again, but I did it anyway. If I opened up too early, I would land on my neck and if I opened up too late, I would risk hitting my nose again. I put on my favorite song from my favorite musician, EDEN, and got super hyped up. The lyrics of the song are about being better and not giving into fear. When the bass droped and EDEN said “Cause I ain’t scared of living,” all of my fears went away and I threw the flip. I didn’t think about anything negative and I held my rotation for just the right amount of time before opening up. I landed perfectly on my back and I stood up right away to celebrate with Michael. I felt like I had just accomplished my biggest goal because I

I skated over to Frank and asked for his skate, as he handed me his black oddly shaped skate, I saw that limbo was 5 minutes in already and there’s already a short line.…
