For my speech over foster care, I expected people to know what foster care was, but not to know very much about it. I had twelve people fill out the audience analysis surveys, so the results are not completely accurate about the entire audience. Becoming a mom is not as easy as some would think. Mothers have to carry their precious babies in their stomach for nine long, excruciating months. The first two months are the worse, lying in bed all day tossing and turning, nauseated, every smell makes you want to puke. Some parents get jealous if their child gets attached to their child care provider, but it is your job to ensure them that a child can love and become attached to more than one person. If this is to happen you need to make sure you are informing them and getting pamphlets or any information you can to them. A childcare center needs to make it routine to write daily notes for each child and have an open communication with their parents.
