Baby years and family history

On my mom's side family means everything. We are constantly going to family gatherings. My grandparents had 5 kids so counting their spouses I have 6 aunts and uncles and 7 younger first cousins. There is lots of drama and no privacy. My dad's side is a different story he is an only child and his mom has remarried many times so we never really have a grandpa on his side. We go and see my granny but that's about the extent of going to see my dad's side.

My little sister and me are basically the poster children for the word frenemies. We are either at each others throats or she is begging to sleep in my bed because she had a nightmare. We have always been the sisters that would sit at a table away from everyone,
