He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February sixth, 1895, and died in Manhattan, New York City, NY, on August sixteenth , 1948. He went to St. Mary’s School. Babe’s first Major League was as a left handed pitcher for the Boston Red Sox from 1914 to 1920. During 1920 he traded over to the New York Yankees.
