I had just got a new movie for Christmas, A Cinderella Story, and I decided to watch it. As I watched this movie for the first time I really fancied it. It was about a girl, Sam, who was living with her step mom and two stepsisters. She had to work very hard for everything she had. After she repeated the words she finally gained strength and courage; she was like a caterpillar breaking out of her cocoon. She realized she needed to go for it and not let anything or anyone hold her back. When I read that quote on the screen it just felt like it was going to stick with me for a while. I play softball so at the time I thought it was only talking about softball. So from then on I decided to just play the game and not have any fears while doing it. It showed me that if you are always apprehensive of striking out you are going to miss the opportunity to actually hit the ball. Ever since I saw this quote this has been one of my favorites. It fits my life and I could relate to the meaning of the quote. I was probably about seven at the time I got that movie so most seven year olds are not going to think that the quote has a deeper meaning. But since I enjoyed that quote and the movie it stayed with me until I could understand that it had a deeper meaning. Now I realize that you can apply this to anything you
