Babe Ruth made himself seem unstoppable when it came to his career, baseball because he was always willing to put in 100% effort, 100% of the time. His quote was to show all his fans and people who looked up to him as a role model, to never give up on something you love, and don’t let anyone bring you down-- always keep pushing. Babe Ruth was an important figure in the 1920s American History because he was one of the greatest (still is) baseball players that have ever stepped foot on a baseball field. Not only was he an excellent athlete, but he was also someone who was very determined and motivated to thrive to do their best at all times. Babe Ruth was born on February 6, 1895 in Baltimore, Maryland. He had two parents, his mom, Kate Schamberger-Ruth and his Dad, George Herman-Ruth Sr. His mom died when he was about 17 and his dad died when he was about 23.
