This is proven through comparing both texts and their purpose to address issues relevant in our society today. Firstly, both composers used intense, non-diegetic music during the scenes of the Aboriginals erecting their flags and when the plastic is being attacked by "nature's most deadly killers, the teacup yorkie". This is used to set the mood as well as guide us into the perspective of the directors. Adding on, both mockumentaries have a narrator who voices over smaller parts for ‘Babakiueria’ while the reporter sat and enormously throughout 'The Majestic Plastic Bag'. Voice over is used to further elaborate on the current perspectives the directors want us to view. Moreover, the most important and obvious similarity between the two text is the use of humour. Humour is created through 'Babakiueria' when the reporter describes a horse bidding game as a religious offering. She then states in a direct speech, "strange isn't it?" which makes us characterise the bidders as stupid. While in 'The Majestic Plastic Bag' humour is created through simple yet incorrect facts about the plastic bag which is illustrated as, "one of the most clever and illustrious creatures". Given these points, both directors of 'Babakiueria' and 'The Majestic Plastic Bag' have indeed made choices that connect the two texts through
