He kept people ignorant about His caste, community and parental family. He did not choose to take up the propagation of Hindu religion as His life mission. He was in ideal secularist in the best traditions of religious harmony and unity. He treated all religions with equal respect and strove to bring about communal harmony and emotional and cultural integration among the followers of different religions. Only a genuine Universal master such as Sri Sai Baba of Shirdi could bring Hindus, Muslims, Parsees, Christians and followers of other religions to such an ultimate and supreme realization that all are essentially one and that is the very basis of intrinsic unity and integration among all
