ON 12/31/16 AT APPROXIMATELY 12:55 A.M., ERIE POLICE RESPONDED TO A SHOOTING IN THE 2000 BLOCK OF JUNE STREET IN ERIE PA, WHERE VICTIM DARRIN GERMANY WAS LOCATED IN THE STREET. MR GERMANY WAS DECEASED FROM A GUN SHOT WOUND. THE PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION, WHICH INCLUDED VIDEO SURVEILLANCE, REVEALED THAT PRIOR TO THE SHOOTING, THE VICTIM AND A MALE, WHO WAS LATER IDENTIFIED AS THE DEFENDANT, HAD BEEN IN A FIGHT INSIDE BOGEY’S TAVERN. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, BOGEY’S TAVERN OUTDOOR VIDEO SHOWED MR. GERMANY EXITING THE SIDE DOOR OF THE TAVERN HEADING SOUTH ON JUNE STREET. AT APPROXIMATELY THE SAME TIME, THE DEFENDANT AND ANOTHER MALE, IDENTIFIED AS “DJ,” EXITED THE FRONT DOOR OF THE TAVERN AND WALKED SOUTH ON JUNE STREET. WITHIN APPROXIMATELY 1
