My goal for the leadership project was to recruit five students to the BAS Network Club before the spring 2018 semester ends. I asked the president of the club, Priscilla “If I were able to get any students, what do you think would be the highest number of students” as I believed she would know a good answer to the question. She said three to five students, so I choose five. The reason why I wanted to recruit students to the club was to fulfill the mission of the club, “to enhance BAS students’ experience at CF by facilitating networking among BAS students, the greater CF student body, staff and faculty group at large as well as networking BAS students with the local area business community” for the students who joined the club because of the project. This club benefits not only business students, but every student as networking can benefit anyone in any field.

2. Host an informal event
3. Recruit one-on-one in bldg. 40
4. Hold a fundraiser at a flea market
5. Make fliers to hand out to students

Thus, I emailed Professor Marino to ask him “may you ask any of them who advise any club at Ocala and Citrus, if I may join their club and as well do one activity for the leadership project.” I assumed he would know people at the Citrus and Ocala campus since he teaches at both campuses.
