I was wondering what we were doing here then I seen the big B100 van and their booth and I started to get happy chills.I thought what if I actually win these tickets to a B100 concert. Then we went to stand in line at Arby's and they gave us raffle tickets so they can call the number off of them to see if you won tickets. We were standing there waiting for our ticket to be called. Then it starts to rain so the people handing out the raffle tickets called everyone over to the booth and started giving tickets away for free.
We got home and I read the tickets and it said that the B100 birthday bash was tomorrow so I was really happy. The race for the presidency in the year 2000 was very controversial. Now after watching the movie Recount it is obvious that George W. Bush illegitimately won the election. Firstly, older voters were confused on how to fill out the ballot, which ended up in a significant amount of dimpled chad that were not counted by the machines, therefore robbing thousands of people of their right to vote for the president they wished to be in office, not to mention that it may have costed Gore the presidency. When the chad were first run through the counting machine they would add 3000 votes to Bush and subtract 3000 votes from Gore. After it came to light that the votes in Florida were illegitimate, Vice President Gore recanted his concession…

So before I left to go on this trip, I entered the lottery for this miniature junior high called dutcher that is difficult to get into. We had entered before we had officially decided to go on the cross country trip, so I wasn't going to be able to go to dutcher. The odd thing was; I didn't show up to the drawing because I just figured that I wouldn't make it in, but the next day when I went to elementary school a friend of mine told me that I had made it in. This had surprised me, because normally I don't make it into these things. My elementary was a lottery school, and I only got into it because my brother got pulled.…
