The Diary of Anne Frank is the diary of a young girl during one of the bleakest time periods ever to take place in world history. Addressed to her diary, her dearest friend during her grim time in the annex of her father’s office, each passage is written with various displays of hope, resilience, and faith in Anne’s written thoughts and documented actions throughout the three years she spent living in fear and misery amongst other Jews hiding away during World War 2.
