In the short story “Awful Australia” by Anna Walwicz, the young person is ‘hating’ on Australia. She doesn’t like anything about Australia. She is venting her frustration, because she has come from a wealthy country but she has to flee because of war. So every Morning she would go to the store to buy some Ethiopian coffee and every morning this man would ask her if she wanted coffee but she would turn him down until one morning she sat at the table and she made her a coffee with allah spelt in it. In this short film the director uses the scene when she is at a garage sale looking at a badminton racket and shuttlecock and the indian woman told her to take it, this shows the viewer that this indian woman is scared of this muslim woman and the conflict between their cultures has not been resolved and this indian woman seems like she hates this muslim
