In Away each family and each character is broken for their own individual reason and in desperate need of discovering a new and better to facilitate reconciliation, healing, acceptance and unity. We can take an example of Gwen before the storm or the chaos she is known to be an arrogant, elitist and a negative woman. After the storm occurs she loses all her personal belongings she learns that there is more to life than material possessions and social standing. She discovers that an individual’s worth is not measured by their wealth.
