Awareness- being up-to-date on the latest research in your field is critical for security in your job, but most importantly helping out your patients. If you do not have the awareness you are only hurting your client. When you administer therapy, clients want to feel like they are in good hands and that they have the best clinician treating them, who is very credible I their field. Everyone wants the best, and we should all strive to give our best, which means having a life-long learning appreciation. The learning does not stop as soon you graduate college. If you are helping with a human life, you need to educate yourself throughout your entire life to remain effective.
