As some people might say, “The proof is in the pudding” and Robbins provides some steps into how someone may be able to grow and change their lives for the better. Three of these steps include “Raise your Standers, Change your limiting beliefs” and “Change your strategy.”

However they may not know how and ever where to start with these “life changing decisions”. Robbins does states within his book “Awaken the Giant Within- How to Take Immediate Control of Your Mental, Emotional, Physical and Financial Destiny!” (“Awaken the Giant Within”) even the act of choosing to read the book the reader has taken the first step into making the “Lasting Change” that Robbins mentions in “Awaken the Giant Within.” Robbins makes mention of some people that have come to him and said that they have gone back to there old ways and that his book did not work for them; to this within “Awaken the Giant Within” Robbins reply’s to these comments “Well did you stick with it?” this simple question could be contributed to some people who may way what some people seem to be calling “The Instant Gratification Effect.” This “Effect” is known for people who want something to happen instantaneously without putting much effort into
