This is a position where the most running will occur. She had just made a run up the sideline of the field when the defense for Dordt got the ball and they started to attack BVU’s goal. Typically this is when the athlete with the condition would start to run back on defense, although this is not what happened. I was playing forward and running back with the play when a turned around and saw her showing the symptoms that she was having an episode. I started to walk towards her and yell at my team to kick the ball out and get our certified athletic training to come help. Even though I was trying to do all this as fast as possible no one heard my yells and before I even go to the girl having the episode she fell face first into the ground. At this point, the ball had finally been kicked out and I had arrived at the side of the girl. The team's another coach was there too and I had to instruct him to not touch her and to treat it like a seizure. Quickly BVU’s certified athletic trainer showed up and got the situation under control.
