My Personal Statement

My name is Avinash Chatoo and I am a hardworking, dedicated, disciplined, attentive, focused and ambitious young man and student of City University of New York where I am pursing a Bachelor Degree in Pharmaceutical Science. I come from a family that has overcome a lot to be where we are today. Growing up in a single parent household has taught me to learn from your mistakes in order to excel and to go beyond every obstacle and challenge that I face in life because these things can help me achieve success. At an early age, I was also taught that in order to achieve your goal you must treasure all opportunities, make the best use of them and the most important one is to work hard with diligence, faith and hope. My mother although she is the only breadwinner of the family she works hard to ensure that my brother, sister and I are always taken care of and is determined to give us a chance of a promising future and thus instill principles in us. Apart from my occupation as a pharmacist I would also like to become a leader to society and with my knowledge, wisdom and experience be able to educate the future generations about the advantages of becoming a pharmacist and also the big difference they can do to make a big impact on society and its people.
I would also like to fulfill my mother’s dream and my career goal of which up to this day I am working hard to achieve just to make it possible.
I am confident that by admitting me to your institution I will relish the opportunity to study pharmacy as it would be the beginning of my road to becoming a successful Pharmacist and also to serve and help people worldwide through my God given gifts and
