People ask me what a leader is, my answer would be someone helpful to others, determined, has confidence in others as well as herself and has a positive attitude. Today, I represent the AVID class of 2018 as a president. I set myself as a role model as well as a leader. I and my peers organized fundraisers to benefit for our future. We are scholars that help to build confidence as to speak with their mind and have their voice heard. In AVID meetings, I had my classmates volunteer, to comment their own ideas for fundraising. As president I do value everyone's opinion and just make sure we have the respect we all deserve. In the beginning of this year I had no idea that I would become president but just because I am president I don't see myself
