Sports and friends weren't an option for me outside of school. You may be asking why I wasnt able to have the average freshman year and this is my story. For the past year, I could only provide an indefinite answer to a frequently asked question, How was your freshman year? In fact, those of us who experienced our freshman year could be addressed as “college veterans” will never initiate a conversation with regard to the past year. Perhaps they consider that the freshman year was not as consummate as they initially planned. I cannot judge my first year in college was successful or frustrating, but I feel I benefited from the meritorious experiences and practical knowledge gained from my college life. In my opinion, no matter what goals one wishes to achieve in college, whether its grade, love, health, or sense of accomplishment, one has to be prepared for both failures and…

It’s the year that colleges look at the most, also it was the year that I was in some of the most challenging classes. Mostly honors, a lot of homework, and tests to go along with it. Studying would take me until late at night, and even on weekends, all day long. When it’s the end of the term everyone checks their grades for their report cards, and progress reports.…

Although I am still learning the freshman survival. I think a great way to survive freshman year is by participating in extracurricular activities and being involved in your school. This helps you grow as a person, be more social and it makes it easier to interact with other students. If you fail in attending class everyday and keeping up with your school work it will be harder for senior year. A freshman survival could also be keeping up with your work and do not fail any classes because it will be much harder as you work your way up to Sophomore, Junior and Senior year.…

Freshman Survival Now that you passed middle school and about to attend your first year of high school as a freshman, there are some things you need to know before going to the major classes. One thing is that ninth grade is sort of like eighth grade, but as the year progresses there are different concepts that are new to you. Don't worry, you're not the only one; other ninth graders are confused with this too, so you should probably ask. Another thing is that you must be prepared at all times when you walk into a classroom and, when the bell rings, class starts. During your first week of high school, teachers usually give you a paper saying what you need throughout the year.…
