In the passage “Don’t Give Up the Fight” the main character Ava overcame obstacles by facing her fears. In the end telling on the people who bullied her. So did Thomas Edison he failed 1,000 times before he created the lightbulb. One of his famous quotes is even “I haven’t failed I just 10,000 ways that don’t work.” Both Ava in the story “Don’t Give Up the Fight” and Thomas Edison overcame major obstacles. Ava and Thomas Edison are different because Thomas Edison made the lightbulb for the world and Ava only did something for herself and told on the bully.
