AutoZone's industry can be defined as an auto parts industry that sales parts to customers who look to do their own handy work on vehicles. AutoZone sells these parts for a discounted price, while selling premium products. This is also a reason they rose to the top of their industry over the years. When it comes to car dealerships, they are not in the same industry as AutoZone. They are a part of the automotive industry that employs over 880,000 employees (Platzer & Harrison, 2009). They would be a potential customer of AutoZone's industry in the do it for me part which targets businesses.
