Automotive mechanics or technicians are the people who usually fix cars and keeping them running today for you without a problem. When becoming a technician there is proper schooling as well, technicians have many of duties to cover also. The duties could vary from computer or either hands on diagnostics. Mechanics earn a very good salary due to the skills and effort they put in. Automotive is a very serious trade and could become injured or even dead for fooling around! Coming into this industry is a very good idea because there techs needed everywhere and there's good money to be made. Automotive technicians are very skilled at fixing and getting cars back on the road at a proficient rate. There are several steps you need to accomplish before coming an automotive technician. ¨You'll first need to obtain a high school diploma or atleast a G.E.D.¨(Study.com) secondly you could also attend any type of vocational education program or go to college and take them. The next step is passing those classes and moving forward with that certificate. Lastly, Once you receive your ASE certificate you could work at most local shops. There are a lot of importances and safety rules that are required to follow. The most common rule is wearing safety glasses while grinding or doing anything that could be hazardous to the eye or even others around you. Another popular shop rule that is required is that you keep your work area organized and clean, also always mop your bay at the end of the day to give it a good shine. Another good skill to have in the automotive industry is that you have good customer service skills. Great mechanics are able to relate well to customers. They are able to communicate effectively with them and put them in a position where they can trust you to work on their
