My grandfather was an automotive mechanic in the United States Airforce for over twenty years. Much of my encouragement comes from his stories and conversations how and why cars work. I have always had a gift in problem-solving as well as technical skills, which are required in this field. Currently, I am enrolled in an automotive program at our local technical college. I am anticipating that the basic skills that I learn at the college will help prepare me to meet the requirements towards continuing my education. In order to thrive in this position, I will be required to enroll in a college that offers an industrial engineering or designer automotive program. Furthermore, a Bachelors Degree is needed for most entry-level auto designer’s positions;
