Personal History I was born in Chattanooga, TN on March 18th 1992. I have one sibling, a brother that was born in 1993 in September. My parents married young and have been together for 20+ years now. My mother is a flight attendant and my father works on computers. Even though, my parents love each other they often argue a lot and to be quite honest I don’t remember much of my childhood. The memories are vague. I do, however remember spending time with my great-grandmother and she was truly inspirational. She really helped my personality flourish. Karen Horney was an independent woman that reached her dreams without letting people to get in her way. Both my great-grandmother and Karen Horney influenced me how every though I am a newly single mother as well as a college student, I can and I will get past this dark phase in my life. Bandura talks about how, “Sometimes individuals fail in self-regulation concerning moral and ethical behaviors and how Bandura calls this moral disengagement and this is when individuals that commit inhumane actions and try to justify them” (Bandura, Chapter 9, page. 246). This would relate to Individuals such as; Murderers, Rapists, Criminals that commit deviant acts that are unaccepted by society and then try to justify why they committed such horrid acts because in their mind-set they did nothing wrong when in reality what they did was wrong. Often times, they fail to see they were in the wrong, fail to accept they were wrong, and fail to have any remorse for the possible victims of whatever reason(s) that was going through their mind at the time the criminal act was
