Imagine forty-five mothers holding their newborn babies at the hospital, the mother and father just stare at their bundle of joy in awe. Time passes and it is time to have the babies one year checkup. Little does one know that of the forty-five mothers and fathers, one baby will have a bad reaction to the shot. Once the parents get home, their perfect baby will continuously scream and it will no longer act like its typical self. First, the baby might all of a sudden not know how to walk like it previously did, or it could start trying to hit its head on things. The want for the MMR vaccine is always in demand because if children catch any of these three diseases it could lead to brain damage, or even death. The first dose of MMR vaccine is commonly given to children aging from twelve to fifteen months, which is also the same time children start showing signs of having autism. The MMR consists of the trio virus along with added chemicals. The concerning chemicals are aluminum, formaldehyde, and thimerosal. These chemicals concern most people because all of these can be extremely harmful to the human body. For example, thimerosal can poison the nervous system. Some studies say that it can even affect the heart and circulatory system when it enters the bloodstream. When you get a vaccination, the fluid of the vaccine goes right into the bloodstream, thus causing, rare disorders when too much organic mercury is placed in the vaccine. America needs to wake up and realize the increase of autism statistics and push for an alternative MMR vaccine.
America is very advanced and I am sure that we could make an alternative MMR vaccine without some of the harsh chemicals. This would then lead to better health and reassurance. The families (and people) that have been harmed by vaccines deserve to know the truth about why their once perfect baby has become harder to take care of and as a result to autism, won’t function correctly.
