Autism is becoming more and more common in children, within the united states. You most likely know or at some point in your life, will know someone with Autism Spectrum Disorder. According to research done by the National Center for Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities, every 1 in 68 children will be diagnosed with it. “Autism effects tens of millions of people around the world” (Autism Speaks). For some, it is teaching and for others it could be creating the best business you can. At one point or another, there was a moment when you knew what you wanted to do. There was someone or something that inspired you. Children are not being informed and taught about Autism, so there is nothing to light the spark of intrigment. If students were educated, that might inspire them to go and do further research on Autism or even focus on it as their job.
