Have you ever seen an unsocial child? Do you know why the child acts like this? Well, this child may have something called ASD, most commonly known as Autism. Autism can cause a child to be unsocial, or not starting to speak at the same time as others their age. However, many people don't really understand Autism completely. It is very important to know what Autism is, how Autism is caused, and the symptoms for diagnosing Autism. Autism is a disorder discovered by two different people at two different times. The first person who discovered the disorder was an American man, Leo Kanner. The second person who discovered Autism was an Austrian pediatrician, Hans Asperger. They have also found certain genes that have something to do with Autism. Some people with autism also have strange levels of serotonin or different neurotransmitters in the brain. This could disrupt the early, developing brain in the womb.
