There are many prevalent disabilities in the world today. One that seems to be an issue in schools nationwide is autism. People that work in education will experience this disability often. Although this disorder can affect people differently in many ways, it is important to understand when working with students, which is important to future educators. There are many ways to understand and deal with autism so that life for students with it, can have a much easier and enjoyable educational experience. Fortunately, I was able to, along with the rest of my class, spend some time with students with this disabilities, and it was a great opportunity.
