As I recalled from one of my old job, when we were working together for an insurance broker type company. Basically, it’s a company that sells, solicits, or negotiates insurances. I was assigned by a very difficult project due in a month despite the lack of resources. I wouldn’t be able to complete the project without his help. For company’s best interests, with his open mind and unafraid to share his histories and resources, he created a trust and confidence bridge between us. An effective leader is the first one to get up and the last one to eat and the last one to bed. A true leader is someone who doesn’t undertake the strenuous job of leading for the glory and admiration, but for the sense of joy and accomplishment his team feels afterward. Through my experiences with Venture Crew, a co-ed branch of the Boy Scouts, I have learned firsthand the definition of servant leadership; putting your groups’ wellbeing over your own benefit. Leaders shouldn’t bark orders or only oversee the work, leaders need to work with their team and pitch in to help reach the goal. When I was as NYLT (National Youth Leadership Training), I learned how to cultivate my ability to be a leader; you have to listen to everyone in the group in order to find common ground to help facilitate the group’s actions.…
