I enjoyed reading your post on team, authentic and servant leaderships and your experience with flying with your crew. As I read your post, I agreed with how authentic leadership have roots in transformational leadership. The behaviors coincide with each other and Northhouse (2013) discussion on these leadership behaviors and theories allowed me to reflect on my past employment. As for your life example, I have experiences flying with crewmembers; however, it is with different crewmembers daily, weekly, and sometimes monthly. Being authentic and having servant leadership skills, is critical due to the fact that I fly with federal air marshals, prisoners, law enforcement officers and other crewmembers for a living.
