Employability skills are becoming increasingly important due to the complexity and rapid change of the workforce, therefore it is important for new graduates not only to maintain and develop knowledge and skills specific to their own discipline, but also posses employability skills that are transferable to multiple work situations. The Australian Government, Department of Education, Science and Training in 2002 identified two components of employability skills: personal attributes and generic skills. The personal attributes' component included loyalty, honesty and integrity, reliability, enthusiasm, positive self-esteem, motivation and adaptability.
