In order to inform the viewers the nature of the problems, choices of archived footage and actuality, interviews of racially attacked victims, statistical evidence and interview from a commissioner of the Australian Human Rights Commission will be displayed.
The documentary will begin with an archive footage of a racial abuse that occurred to a Chinese-Australian. The footage will expose the degree of racism Asians faces in Australia. After the footage, captioning will be used to visually impact the audience, as the screen will be filled with racist language in highlighting red with a black background. She will expose the racism she had long experienced during the competition of this reality TV show. An archive footage of one Australian competitor giving out a racial discrimination rant will be used to indicate how racism towards Asian (on media) is alive and well in Australia. In order to emphasize the harm competitor did to Poh, a low-angled shot will be used to make the competitor look strong and powerful. Bright and ambient light was used in the footage to position the audience with the sense of reality and provoke anger against the racism.
