This essay is going to discuss on the issue of whether if Australia has good international relations in the Asia- Pacific. The ideas will be basic on the Driver’s article (2015) and explain the ideas that I agree with and disagree with and will be conclude with whether if I think Australia has good international relations or not in the Asia- Pacific. In Driver’s article “The Asia- Pacific Scramble and a ‘Larger Australia’”, it first talked about the rise of the People’s Republic of China which could bring chances and also problems to Australia. Secondly, it has used Japan as an example talking about what was success and failure during World War II. Furthermore, it has mentioned about the geo-strategic impacts of China and the United States
