Wonder is about a boy named August Pullman, but his friends and family called him Auggie as a nickname. He is a ten-year old boy that was born with a facial deformity who is going to a school for the first time instead of being home-schooled by his mom. His parents take him to take a tour of the school and meet the principal, Mr.Tushman. Three kids also were there to take him on a tour, Jack, Charlotte, and Julian. Auggie settles in school after a few months and the kids in his grade get used to his face, but before they were so mean to him. Only some of the kids were nice to him, Jack and Summer, a girl that sat next to him at lunch. There was this rumor about Auggie, that if you touch him you’ll get cooties.
Then the story switches over
