Auggie Compare And Contrast

“Who we are on the inside is more important than what we are on the outside” This reminds me of a spectacular book, Wonder. Jack and Auggie are the main characters and are friends because of their many similarities. However, the opposites also make them attract. They are both great soul and I believe I would be amazing friends with them. Jack and August are both amazing kids but my favorite is Auggie. They have a lot in common. To start of, they both are 5th grade boys who go to Beecher Prep Elementary School. In addition, they have most of the same classes and same teachers. That was a big thing in the story because that’s how they saw each other everyday and became good friends. Finally, they have both have been bullied my Julian. He is like the villain of the story and they hate him. Despite the similarities Jack and Auggie also have many differences. …show more content…
For example, Auggie has a disability and has got several surgeries. In addition, when Jack was a kid his father died, and same with Auggie but his dog, Daisy is the one who died. When Auggie first came in the school Jack helped him fit in, so that means that Jack was in the school way before August came. In conclusion, many people like different characters, but my favorite from Wonder is Auggie. I prefer Auggie more because I trust him more than Jack. Jack let us and Auggie down once in the book when he was talking bad about him with Julian. Also, August has a pure heart and good soul because he never lets anyone down. Of course, August would always help people and share his kindness with the world. Jack isn’t terrible, but I would always prefer August Pullman as my favorite character in the book
