Attitude In Augbel's Quotes From 'Wonder'

I think this passage is about how attitude affects life and other things. It tells you how someone acts usually and tells you what kind of person someone is. It basically defines someone. This passage is one of the basics of life. But, this passage connects to Wonder. It shows all the characters and their attitudes. Their attitudes can be shown through their actions, sayings, and how they do something. For example, Julian from the book Wonder says one mean thing to Auggie on their first meeting. He says, “What’s the deal with you face? I mean, were you in a fire or something? -”.(Page 29). That quote right there shows you how mean Julian is. This attitude affects Auggie’s life. His feelings get hurt and that shows how attitude affects life. It is obvious. Usually, people don’t say one rude or mean thing and then be all nice again. People usually either say one thing as a mean way or a nice way. Also, another example is how Amos was mean during the beginning of the book Wonder, but got more nice and even more nice near the ending of the book. You can see this from how Amos gave a little nod of hello to Auggie. (Page 263) (Quote, “- he nodded hello to us {Auggie and Jack} as they passed by.”) This again shows how attitude affects life. Amos is affected by Auggie’s outgoing, and withstanding attitude. So, he gets nicer to Auggie. Amos affects Auggie as well. Amos is mean, but nice to Auggie.
