They also need to have courage and not let society blind them from what the right decision is. All of these life lessons can be used today. Today, some hispanic people are treated harshly because some of them are in gangs. But that does not mean every hispanic person is bad because others like them are in gangs. Atticus explained to the children that they should not do this; not everyone is like these stereotypes that are in society. In the same case, if everyone puts themselves in these hispanic people’s shoes them they would see that what people are doing to them is wrong. Society should not blind these people to believe that being racist is fine to do. They can have their opinions but when it starts to affect someone who has done nothing wrong to get this treatment, they should realize that they need to change their opinions and the opinions of those around them.
