On November 17, 2015, I was able to attend the IPE Campus Activity held in the old gym. This event consists of all health professional students attending Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus. I believe there were close to 500 students that attended the IPE event. The students were separated into teams of various health professions. The group I was part of consisted of three pharmacists, a respiratory care therapist, an occupational therapist, a physical therapist, two nurses, the facilitator (who is a physical therapist as well), and myself with a public health profession.…

Today at Simulation Lab I performed health history on a patient. Firstly, I commenced by preparing myself for the interview. I have focused this reflection assignment on an issue I was faced with during my third year placement in an acute hospital on a surgical ward.
