There have been countless arguments to both sides of this issue. Whether or not this disorder is real, I feel that the evidence suggests that there is something going on and it’s affecting so many people’s lives.
What is the definition of a mental disorder? It’s a condition marked primarily by sufficient disorganization to personality, mind, and emotions that can impair the normal psychological functioning of an individual. If so then I can’t seem to find a better candidate than ADHD. ADHD, like mental disorders, affects people’s personalities, mind and emotions by making inappropriately impulsive decisions and having emotional difficulties such as a sense of underachievement and trouble staying motivated. Neurobiology and genetics are thought to be causes of this disorder. The frontal lobes and the cerebrum are the two areas of the brain that are being studied for this disorder. The ability to understand this disorder through the processes of the brain helps scientists to potentially find a cause. There is evidence to suggest that ADHD comes from the Frontal lobes and Cerebrum. If that is so then the research in the next couple of years should prove exactly what causes this disorder and how we can go about curing it. Although it has been said to be largely a genetic
