Attending BU is a inspiration to me. BU has been a college that has caught my attention due to the variety of courses i'd be able to take. Some reasons why I chose the courses that I did was to finally excell in those subjects. I chose business as my first course because it's the subject I have had my eye on for a while now. Business is a dream of mine to excell in and as i've been told by some friends, BU is an excellent choice for business. During school I tend to focus as hard as possible so that I wouldn't forget any useful information that has been told throughout the class. I've been wanting to become an entrepeneur for as long as I can remeber and knowing that I may be able to attend BU for that subject means the world to me. I would love to be able to ask as many questions as possible and be able to expand my brain knowledge of these subjects with all the help I can get. I'm also hoping to be attend the photography course because as I take photos it releases my brain into a calm state and relieves my stress. Also, being able to connect with other people around the world that adore the same subjects that I do would be an amazing expirience for me. I've always wanted to share my ideas with other people that would be able to relate and expand my ideas and make them possible future carrers. At BU I intend to show my full potential and be able to show others how I can manuver my ways around things and how I tackle difficult problems with my own knowledge and how I don't need others to rely on. My main goal is to be able to perfect the subject that I'd be able to share my knowledge with others who aren't so knowledgable about the subject so that they may be able to persue their passion one day. I have friends that teach me many different things including business and as a result im able to take the class at my school due to what i've been taught by my friends, i'm not just sitting in my class doing nothing

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to attend North Dakota State University. My dad and sister are NDSU alumni, so furthering my education where they did provides us with a unique bond. Additionally, not many of my relatives attended college, allowing me to see the difficulties in providing for oneself and family without a college degree. Although I know the next seven years are going to be challenging, extremely strenuous, and will push me to the edge of my comfort zone, the satisfaction of administering medical services to those who need them will make it worthwhile. Not only will I be able to care for others with a Pharm.…

I am a first-generation Latina student at The Ohio State University. Being from inner city Toledo, Ohio, I attended a public district where 80% of students received free or reduced lunch and the graduation rate was at an all time low of 49%. My parents had not graduated high school, therefore once college applications became relevant, they unfortunately could not help me. Through 25 different scholarships, I was able to attend OSU without any loans and truly believed I was on the right track to achieving the "American Dream". To my dismay, once classes began, I was lost.…

Personal Statement Almost everyone had a rod in hand as they walked through the main street headed for the pier or docks to try and reel in a tasty morsel for dinner. Surrounded by family and relatives, I lived in a capsule of love. Little did I know that in several years, I would be on a plane bound for the United States, uncertain about my future but resolve in my dreams.…

True and significant life is found in Jesus Christ and because of my firm conviction of this it has been my primary objective to point people to Jesus. Being persuaded that Christ wants Christians and especially those who take leadership roles to minister to the needs of others, I have ordered my life to conform to that conviction. Ultimately, Jesus desires that each Christian serves him by serving others; this is accomplished in a variety of ways – feeding those who are hungry, teaching everyone the life saving Gospel, and by leading in a way that reflects the glory of Christ. It has been my immense pleasure to have had the opportunity to preach God’s Word to thousands of people over the past fifteen years. It is my sincere passion to see people embrace Christ Jesus as their Lord and savior and to be transformed by the renewing of their minds through the Word of God.…
