When I was in elementary school my teacher would take us out to run before starting her lesson because she said that it would wake us up and our brain function would improve. I noticed that this was true because it made it easier to focus in class and I felt like I could think clearer. Some days before I go to class if I’m feeling tired, sleepy or sick I would just get up in the morning and just do some jumping jacks and pushups to get my brain function up. This really helped on the days that I was sick because if I just did a light exercise for 5 minutes I feel a lot better and way more alert and focused.
