I was reviewing my grades and I saw that I did not have any points for attending to the AITP meeting. I do think there might be a mistake. I swipe my appacard twice, when I got in, and when I left. I did eat pizza and even got a pen and a annual planner from amazon. The guys from Amazon gave some prizes also. I would like to know, if there is any possibility that you could check again my attendance to the meeting.

Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) is a nucleic acid present in organisms with the primary function of providing energy. It is comprised of three phosphate groups with one adenosine attached and releases energy by being hydrolysed into Adenosine Diphosphate (ADP), therefore one bond is broken and a phosphate molecule is lost. ATP can only be reproduced through phosphorylation which results in the addition of one phosphate to Adenosine Diphosphate. ATP must be regenerated in order to allow an organism to function correctly and this process requires energy which is provided by the oxidation of carbohydrates and fats. The production of ATP occurs in the mitochondria of animals and the chloroplasts of plants.…

To do this activity, I calculated my BAC based off a 12 oz regular beer that contains about 5% alcohol. As a result, my expected BAC after 2 standard drinks within 1 hour was 0.06% and my BAC after 5 standard drinks within 3 hours was 0.1425%. I was very surprised by the findings of this activity and I think what shocked me the most was reading the different predictable effects. For instance, for someone whose BAC is between .05%…

We live in a world where fear and anxiety are common and in some point in our lives we will all witness a traumatic event, however, the way one reacts to trauma can affect him/her in the long-run. Some people are able to cope and progress from the life-threatening event with a fight-or-flight response, which is a natural coping mechanism that protects an individual from harm, while others remain constantly frightened, which leads to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). This individual becomes irritable, anxious, easily frightened, depressed, and has flashbacks or nightmare of the traumatic event. Electron motion in atomic systems, which happens on timescales of attoseconds, is at the heart of all phenomena in nature (except for nuclear processes). Electron motion is responsible for the emission of light and photosynthesis in plants. Electron motion across biological molecules transports information in our nerves and is involved in processing this information in our brains. Moreover, the valence electrons are responsible for binding atoms to form molecules. The structural change of molecule is triggered by motion of electrons in the chemical bonds.…
