Overview
Atopic eczema is a form of dermatitis now very common among children aged one to seven years.
Atopic eczema in children
About 15% of small, from one to seven years of age, has this type of dermatitis that, in 60% of cases, occurs within the first two years of life. Sometimes it disappears spontaneously or if it is manifested at an early age and is accompanied by familiar, can also persist into adulthood. Dermatitis is congenital and genetic in origin but can develop sensitivity to other factors such as diet or taking of drugs. Atopic eczema may present acutely with a reddened patches (sometimes local swelling and small blisters) and in chronic form with injuries due to continuous scratching by the child.

Symptoms
