The US should have used the bomb on Japan because on December 7, 1941 Japanese planes attacked the Naval Base of the United States in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. About two thousands Americans due to of the bomb. Also, the attack sank twelve ships and damaged nine others, the attack destroyed the American battle ship, and the attack destroyed 160 aircrafts and damaged 150 aircrafts. Another reason is because President Harry S. Truman thought the only way the Japanese emperor and Japan would surrender is by using atomic bomb. The atomic bomb was dropped on August 9, 1945.

I believe it is not fair to kill innocent people who did not even help in the Pearl Harbor bombing. About 40,000 people were killed because of the American B-29 bomber Bockscar
