Most of the athletic trainers work indoors; other athletic trainers, especially those involved with sports, spend most of their time outside working in the outdoors. Most people work full time. Schedules may vary depending on where the work is performed at. Those not in a sport setting usually have a set work schedule of about 40 hours per week.
